The rims are bevelled and mirror polished. Not a soft round dome. Angled facets that catch light and hold the face. Structure under shine. Profile before sparkle.

Machined from
tungsten carbide.
Cut from a single block of tungsten carbide. Eight millimetres wide. Dense. Permanent. Polished yellow gold across the face. A centred line of clear stone that does not blink.

Polished gold.
Held against the skin.
The interior is full polished yellow gold. Warm. Bright. Private. Continuous metal. No engraving. Against the finger it stays quiet. Until the light finds it.
