black tungsten.

Cut from a single block of tungsten carbide. Eight millimetres wide. Dense. Permanent. Gold steps lock the black centre in place. The silhouette stays round. The face stays stepped.

The interior is full polished black. Deep. Mirror-clean. Blank. No engraving. Against the finger it stays private. Until the light finds it.

Chapter 05. The fit
